hear about the impact from youth:
At 13, Riley moved from Chelan to a small school near Lake Roosevelt. She saw her peers struggling with loneliness and knew Only7Seconds could help but the adults in charge didn’t listen. After losing two classmates to suicide, Riley took action. She enlisted fellow students, connected with Only7Seconds staff, and convinced the school board to bring the program to her school.
By October, Only7Seconds programs were transforming the community. Students leaned in during assemblies, joined monthly Connection Challenges, and wore Only7Seconds t-shirts to honor lost peers. Riley’s leadership created a lasting impact - one that continues as she heads to Central Washington University, ready to bring connection and hope to even more young people.
