to create an environment where youth build a culture of connection.
The Only7Seconds club model is intended to be carried out by youth, in any setting, with the support of an adult advisor.
Youth leaders are provided with monthly overviews and digital and physical resources to guide them through each weekly club meeting. Each weekly meeting focuses on building connection through conversation cards that provide a range of fun and deep questions, actionable challenges, and learning activities. Once a month, each Club7 will host a SHARE Day connection activity that create fun, meaningful connection with the broader community.
The Club7 card deck enables youth leaders to guide monthly meetings in an easy and adaptable way while providing content that speak to the bigger building blocks of social health (empathy, self-connection, storytelling, belonging, and more!).

what do I need to start a club7?
To create a club, you will need an adult advisor and at least one youth leader. Youth leaders lead and facilitate every meeting while the adult advisor is the legally responsible adult for the club and the club sponsor at the hosting site. The Adult Advisor also serves as a mentor to the youth Leader, helping the leader be prepared to facilitate the meetings and lead the club.

Yes, there is a cost; however our goal is that each club has a sponsor outside of the youth leaders or adult advisor. We don't want cost to get in the way of connection, so reach out to our team to see if we already have sponsors for your area or to work with us to seek out a sponsor for your club!

Club sponsors are usually individuals or organizations and might already be in your network. If you have a potential sponsor, you can share your vision for a Club7 and this document with them. If you need assistance, reach out to our team to see if there are any already committed sponsors for your area or to work with us to get a sponsor.

Youth leaders are expected to commit to leading the full duration of the club (9 or 11 months depending on your program duration) and commit approx. 6 hours a month to plan, conduct meetings, complete reporting tasks. Youth leaders are responsible to schedule meetings and lead club communications, ensure member survey completion, check in with our team once a month, and inspire their members by leading with belonging and connection! And! You don't have to do it alone- your adult advisor is always there for support.

We really care about youth leading the charge on this one, so each Club7 requires a youth or young adult leader along with the adult advisor. If you're an adult who would like to see a Club7 started in your school or organization, start by sharing the opportunity with potential youth leader.
